BJDs: Wigs and Sweaters

I've recently purchased A Bobobie Gang and since everything I've tried to do with my Pixiu hasn't turned out right, I thought I'd start with Gang instead.
The wig cap tutorial I found once upon a time is now gone. I don't know if the person who made it just took it down or what happened. So I begin my search again and post links so I can find them again later.

I'm still trying to find the tutorial to make your own cap, but I've found one I'm going to attempt with some fine mesh.

I've been trying to create a sweater for my Pixiu since I bought him. I first tried to learn knitting and I can't do the whole two needle thing. I then taught myself crochet. Something about the hook makes my life easier. The only problem is, most ball joint doll patterns seem to be written for knitting and not crochet. As a matter of fact, most patterns in general seem to be for knit and not crochet.
I found an article by UndermostSalamander that discusses resizing patterns for dolls and I am in the process of doing a test swatch. I will be posting my results on my Ravelry page and the blog.
Now to get to work on a test swatch! I'll post updates on this post as it happens.
