Charity

There are many causes I am passionate about. This is a list of those charities where you can make donations in various ways. Please consider helping out!

I was a volunteer for Colony Cats for two years both as a caretaker in the intake area of the shelter as well as serving as a foster for kittens. (Which is where I foster failed and ended up with Slayer-potomus.) They are a no kill shelter and are completely volunteer based so all proceeds go back into the care of the cats in the colony. You can not only give monetary donations, but you can also donate bags or cans of food and bags of scoopable and non-scoopable litter at the adoption center to provide for their kiddos. They have an Amazon wishlist that will be delivered directly to them. If you can't make a monetary donation or that of much needed products, you can also sign up as an Amazon Smile member and list Colony Cats as a beneficiary or sign up for a Kroger Cares card with the same end. Simply go to the Kroger Website and sign in or create an account. Click on Community Rewards and choose Colony Cats as your organization. Their group number is CT262. Shop as normal and Colony Cats will get donations. They have a Chewy rewards just for ordering your pet food from Chewy using their link (https://www.chewy.com/rp/7087) If you are local or willing to travel, you can volunteer. There's always adoption as well! Pick up your new fur-ever friend from the shelter. They have both cats and kittens as well as FIV adoptables. They're an amazing resource and an amazing community.

Anime for Humanity is a charity non-profit dedicated to use anime, cosplay and video games as a medium to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. They accept donations as small as $1 and have a pretty nifty merch store for tee shirts. You can also volunteer to help out at booths and spread awareness. Be sure to check out their website in the links above to learn more.

Healthy Gamer

Although they don't have a logo available for posting, Healthy Gamer is a community of coaches that will help you get on the right path for success and mental health. They have coaches available for both individuals and groups and are active on Twitch, Youtube and Discord. If you are interested, there are plenty of ways to get involved with the community.
